About this eBook

New York Times bestselling author Sylvain Reynard continues the story of Gabriel and Julia, two lovers bound together by their darkest desires. But those very desires may destroy them—NOW A FILM FROM PASSIONFLIX!

Professor Gabriel Emerson has embarked on a passionate, yet clandestine affair with his former student Julia Mitchell. Sequestered on a romantic holiday in Italy, he tutors her in the sensual delights of the body and the raptures of sex.

But when they return, their happiness is threatened by conspiring students, academic politics, and a jealous ex-lover. When Gabriel is confronted by the university administration, will he succumb to Dante’s fate? Or will he fight to keep Julia, his Beatrice, forever?

In Gabriel’s Rapture, the brilliant sequel to the wildly successful debut novel, Gabriel’s Inferno, Sylvain Reynard weaves an exquisite love story that will touch the reader’s mind, body, and soul, forever.

It's a pity some readers wouldn't give book 2 a chance because book 1 I'll admit was rather slow. But this time around everything about this book was a page turner. Gabriel is sexier, more erotic, and his love for Julianne brought tears to my eyes. Julianne blossoms in this sequel and really holds her own....even in the bedroom!

This second in the series doesn't disappoint. Very well written reimagining of Bella and Edward from the Twilight saga, and far superior writing than E. L. James, who took on a lifestyle, the BDSM community, without doing any research. Again, I don't approve of the imbalance of professor/student relationships, which is why I only rated this four stars.

To be able to love as selflessly as Julia and Gabriel do is jaw dropoing to me. This novel touched me in many ways. I loved the journey Gabriel took to discover himself and how he was able to love through all the adversities that were thrown at him and Julia. I would love to be able to one day find something this pure..
