this should be a 2.5 there are major problems with the walkthrough. each section of the walkthrough is basically just a list of the items and pokemon you can catch in the area with almost absolutely no written instructions on how to proceed through the area with a few maps here and there, no breakdowns of the trainers you encounter other than the pokemon they field. the only exception to this is major gym leader battles and the elite 4 have details of their moveset and how to counter them. there are many discrepancies in the item listing, as an example the oreburgh mine item list has the description and item of two items swapped around. valley windworks is another example, it covers the area in the flow but doesn't mention you have to go back to floaroma town and fight Galactica for the key to enter. after using gamerguides let's go Pikachu Guide which is very well written this was just a major disappointment. it's good for lists and quick references but that mostly all.

The books part is great the walk-through is good and on point as far as I can tell but the pictures are all wrong and it can get confusing it tells me one thing and showes me a picture of something totally different and theirs no maps so u can't find ur way

My brother bought this actually and he has both the actual hand guide like real copy of and he also has this one on phone it's not bad but to the people whining and crying my babies because it's not free this game just came out it's actually cheaper to buy the book here right now then to go to GameStop and buy one because people don't understand why people want this kind of stuff it's awesome because there are people that want the real copy of something and their phone copy
