‘कैसी है नीतू?’ विजय भैया की आवाज हमेशा ही उसे खुशी देती थी। खुश न हो; तब भी उसे आवाज से खुश दिखना होता था। वह कहीं आवाज के जरिए उसके दर्द में न झाँक लें!
‘अच्छी हूँ; भैया। आप सुनाइए; ऐसी कौन सी खबर है; जो आप लोगों ने इस समय फोन किया?’
‘हम्म! बड़ी सयानी है; तू!’
नीतू फीकी सी हँसी हँस दी थी।
‘खबर यह है कि अभी-अभी ओम का फोन आया था। भारद्वाज आंटी की डेथ हो गई।’
