This book was a good mix of police procedural and science fiction. It had a futuristic setting featuring aliens alongside humans with a nice dash of romance. I liked learning Mia's history along with her as her powers are gradually revealed.

I liked this book!! i still prefer her lords of the underworld series and the Atlantis series but this one was really good... Mia is kick butt and the men are as always super hot!! Go Gena!!

would have given it 5 star if the ending wasn't so rushed. amazing story. well written but that ending... anti climax.
