All of the books are perfect in their own perspective. Each person/ couple has a unique quality about them that separate them form others like people in the real world. These books take me out of the real world and let me as an adult image, and oh do I need a moment at times to just forget about what's going on around me. ( and fantasize, wink wink). Cause gena showalter can really make you head steam. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Thank you for all the books keep writing mabe the children will have their own adventures

Awesome story, but it ended too soon. It didn't feel right ending the way it did. Strider's was not finished either.

Don't even need to read before leaving a review! Gena paints a picture with words to make you feel as if your right in the story as one of the characters! Easy to get lost in her books... Lord's of the underworld is by far my favorite series ... I recommend starting from the very beginning to be able to follow the story better! I know the darkest king will not disappoint in the least!
