This is the first book I've read from Gena Showalter and I must say that she is an amazing fantasy author and storyteller. The Glass Queen was a great twist and re-telling of the Cinderella story and I was captivated by how the author took this well known children's story and turned it into a dark and twisted adult fantasy love story. I love the whole hate- to - love- you- love-to hate -you dynamic that Princess Ashleigh and King Saxon have, I love that you get that GOT vibe in some parts of the story and I loved that you really didn't need to read the first book in this series to appreciate this story. This book was intriguing, you don't know who you could trust and you really weren't too confident in the main characters having their HEA. I will keep an eye out for the next installment in this series and see what other Disney princess story will be given a twist by this author. ~Glori💜

Boo I hate this book after I finished the evil queen I read this book it's the worst book ever the evil queen was good so I read this book and I wanted to like it as much as I liked the evil queen but I just couldn't like this book anyone who hasn't read it yet don't for the love of God it's the worst book ever
