About the author

Georges Sioui est professeur agrégé et coordonnateur du programme d’études autochtones à l’Université d’Ottawa. Il est l’auteur de Pour une autohistoire amérindienne et Les Hurons-Wendat : Une civilisation méconnue. Il est membre du clan Tseawi (Soleil levant) de la nation des Hurons-Wyandots. -- Georges Sioui is associate professor and coordinator of the Aboriginal Studies program at the University of Ottawa. He is the author of For an Amerindian Autohistory and Huron-Wendat: The Heritage of the Circle, which was nominated for a Governor General’s award. He is a member of the Tseawi (Rising Sun) Clan of the Huron-Wyandots.
