I am in agreement with the view of an end time destruction, I just believe that the target of that destruction is different than Mr. Flurry has ascertained. By the descriptive terms used by Obadiah the LORD seems to be referencing the U. S.. We have forsaken any semblance of one nation under God. We have allowed our pride to deceive us. We feel invincible as did Rome. We exalt ourselves as the eagle. We set our nest among the stars in 1969. Remember "the eagle has landed", Neil Armstrong!

Sobering. A call to dedication to Christianity in it's purest form.Those not walking in the Spirit need to repent and begin seeking strength and guidance to obey the will of The Almighty.There simply is no more time for procrastination or excuses!

GERALD FLURRY is pastor general of the Philadelphia Church of God. He is the author of over 45 books and booklets, editor in chief of the Philadelphia Trumpet magazine and presenter on the Key of David television program. In the fall of 2001, he founded Herbert W. Armstrong College, a liberal-arts college, in Edmond, Oklahoma.
