1957, Sauerländer, lebt in Berlin und der Uckermark; beruflich ist er zurzeit angestellt in einer Verwaltung in Düsseldorf. Sauer war viel im Politikbetrieb unterwegs, wo Reden und Artikel schreiben lange das tägliche Brot war. Mittlerweile schreibt er lieber Romane und Reiseberichte, sowie hin und wieder Gedichte. Erschienen sind bisher - Das Grüne Kleid – Ein Heimatroman ( 2019) - Eine Nacht. Immerhin / Kriminalroman (2021) - Der Kopf muss ab/ Kurzgeschichtensammlung (2021). Die "Unterwegsbetrachtungen - Strauße, wilde Würste und ein Dom" erscheinen im Januar 2023.
