This book kept me on the edge of my seat with all the action going on. It's definitely one you're going to have a hard tine putting down because you're going to get so invested in David and Amelia's story. The scenes with David and Leah were so heartwarming and sweet. Amelia is an inspiring strong character with a ton of guts. The bad guys in this one were some nasty characters and I couldn't wait for them to get a dose of what they deserved. I highly recommend this book!

4.5 Stars This is book 5 in the Storm Warning series and it features David and Amelia. She truly acts the part of a woman scorned. She is often resentful, bitter and a little mean to David for more than half the book. I thought this was going to be a sweet second chance romance but it turned out to be so much more. The romance was there and for David it was hard won. There was an absolutely adorable little girl named Leah that stole my heart. There was also some fantastic action and suspense. This was such an unexpected pleasure to read. The story line had a natural flow and the fabulous characters all had a role in this amazing little town. I can’t wait to read more from this talented author.
