Anna er rigtig glad. Godt nok bor hun alene, men hun er altid i så godt humør, at alle kan lide hende. Så da Anna en dag brækker benet og får brug for hjælp, stiller alle hendes venner gladeligt op. Per Gammelgaard (f. 1948) blev uddannet bibliotekar i 1973 og har siden da skrevet en række digtsamlinger. I 1981 debuterede han som romanforfatter med "Er du hjemme, Johanne?"
