Since 2001, Congress has provided the DoD with hundreds of billions of dollars for military operations in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). DoD compiles and reports monthly and cumulative obligations incurred to support GWOT. The Nat. Defense Authorization Act for FY 2006 requires quarterly updates to Congress on the costs of Oper. Iraqi Freedom and Oper. Enduring Freedom based on DoD¿s monthly reports. This report contains an analysis of DoD¿s reported obligations for military operations in support of GWOT through 9/07.
