He’s looking for redemption.

After destroying his reputation, Jason Friar is desperate to make a comeback in Major League Baseball. The only team who will have him is the perennial cellar dwellers, the Georgia Knights, who are looking for a leader for their struggling team. With the contract comes a leash, held by a sexy image consultant with whom he had a hot fling...

She’s looking for respect.

After being blamed for the collapse of a political candidate’s campaign, Stacia Kendall needs a new opportunity to prove herself to her father, a prominent and powerful Senator. Her one chance is to redeem the image of Jason Friar and not succumb to the heat simmering between them, a heat she knows so well...

Can Stacia help Jason find the redemption he needs, while protecting her heart?

Bright lights and big dreams lead to broken hearts. With success on their minds and hope in their hearts, Jason and Stacia set out to follow dreams, but in hindsight the reality proved harder to take than the fantasy. Sports stories are not usually my forte. However, I am becoming more enamored of them with every chance that I take on one. Going All The Way is more than just a sports story. It's a journey of faith, redemption and love. I enjoyed Stacia's strength of character and determination. The perfect female heroine. NEVER GIVE UP, is the message and Ms. Ryder's characters practiced what they preached. With little motivation, a bit of inspiration and the heart of a champion, anything is possible.

I enjoyed this one. The writing is good, the characters were interesting, and it had a nice flow. It's a light easy read that was very entertaining. Both the MC are working to redeem themselves in their respective careers. Jason Friar is working on resurrecting his baseball career after landing with the Georgia Knights. He's struggling though, for the first time he is the old guy and needs to be a leader on the team. He's not exactly sure how to do this. After being part of a losing political campaign, image consultant Stacia Kendall is working hard to repair Jason's reputation. She needs this to work to prove to herself and her overbearing father that she has what it takes. The attraction between Stacia and Jason may be more than her heart can handle though. I would definitely recommend this one.

"Going All the Way" by Megan Ryder is book one in the "Knights of Passion" series. This is Jason Friar and Stacia Kendall's story. Stacia is working with a political candidate and secrets get out to the press so she loses her job. Jason's reputation has just about killed his chances of having a comeback as a major league baseball player. Stacia and her friend go out for drinks. Stacia has decided that she is tired of doing what is right. So tonight she is going to take risks. This is where Jason comes in. He is in the same bar not happy that there is only one major league baseball team that is interested in him. Stacia doesn't know who he is. She decides he is the one that she is going to take chances with. Stacia ends up having a one night stand with Jason. After losing her political campaign job Stacia is told that she has a job helping a baseball team repair a reputation of one of their players. So, this is where things really begin to get really interesting. Jason and Stacia are opposites and I loved watching their relationship develop. If you love a great story with hot intimate scenes, then you will want to pick this one up. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.
