One of the first book from the billionaire bad boys.. i must say best book, always been a fan of Carly Phillips.. I loved how the author has portrayed both of the characters kade and Lexie... in love with there chemistry.. the story is about how a rich, powerful, alpha Ceo gets attracted to a bossy and sexy assistant on the very first day of her job.. as the time passes the chemistry ignites between both of them, after a emotional storm will they be able to reunite as one.. the side character was also fun and always has been. i must mention out that the author always unsure to stick with the plot with all the characters protagonist and also the sides... Even if the story of the novel is like a usual one Carly Phillips knows how to make it stand out of the crowd...

Going Down Easy is the first book in Carly Phillips newest series, the Billionaire Bad Boys. In this story we meet Kaden Barnes, one of the creators of a new phone app called Blink. Kaden is as alpha as they come. He has trouble keeping an assistant for more than a day or two. That is until Lexie Parker takes on the job. Lexie is no nonsense, efficient, and all business. She is willing to stand up for herself and not take any gruff from Kaden. Lexie is one of the few who understands Kaden’s idiosyncrasies. This is due in part from her experience as caretaker for her twin sister who is bi-polar. In addition to be a wonderful assistant, Lexie is beautiful and modest, which attracts Kaden’s attention. This book is definitely hot and sexy with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, believable, and complex. They shared more than just the chemistry between them. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book, until I realized the trouble that would break up the two main characters about three-quarters of the way through, before it actually occurred in the story. That doesn’t mean it was bad, it’s just I prefer to be a bit more surprised with the twists and turns. I didn’t anticipate the final journey for Kaden and Lexie, which increased my delight in the story. Despite these feelings, I do recommend this book to other readers. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Nicole's Book Musings
I really enjoyed this one. It has heat, but it also has such sweet moments. I had some tears falling a couple of times. The characters are great and engaging. This book also brings awareness to mental health. Lexie's life revolves around her twin and how any given day she is coping. She has no time for herself, but her job brings her in contact with Kaden her new boss. He has some quirks and stuff he deals with every day as well, but that doesn't stop the instant attraction between the two. There is a black cloud looming over Kaden and his friend's company and add in what is going on in Lexie's life. Will their relationship be destined for failure? A well rounded book in my opinion. The ending was the icing on the cake. Can't wait for more from the series.
