I'm in awe. An Epic if I've ever read one. Takes enemy within to an entirely new level. This series has one of the most gripping plots for political corruption, insurgency, science fiction, and futuristic warfare I've ever read. Darrow's mission is daunting, and the walls he has to climb seem to be getting taller and taller. Every time I was forced to put the book down, I'd be left wondering how he & the supporting cast would clear the next hurdle.

these books are bloodydamn good. i held back from reading them because i thought it might be a little YA... they're not and they are fantastic. pacing is spectacular. twists are great, characters great. just a really great series

This is not just one of the best sequels I've read but it's one of my favorite science fiction books of all time. This is an excellent story and it deserves to be read. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
