If you've never worked with an Android device before, this guide will be extremely helpful in getting you started with the basic features and functions. It does not, however, document every detail of operating the phone or explain every possible setting and icon. This seems to be a common trend with new devices (if you're lucky to get any documentation at all), and one I can understand given the near-limitless possibilities of new mobile devices, but Android's growing emphasis on unlabeled icons sure would be an easier pill to swallow if their meanings were documented somewhere.

There is so much that this phone can do that it's virtually impossible to remember everything. Having access to this book at the touch of a finger is awesome. Just scan through the table of contents, find your topic, touch it and you're there. The answer to question at the touch of a finger; very nice.

There are a lot of tips specific to Jellybean that are good to know if you're coming from an older version of Android. You probably don't need to read this to figure out how to use your new phone, but you might discover some things that you wouldn't find through typical use.
