About this ebook

Through no fault of his own, the once human Jim Eckert had become a dragon. Unfortunately, his beloved Angie had remained human. But in this magical land anything could happen. To make matter worse, Angie had been taken prisoner by an evil dragon and was held captive in the impenetrable Loathly Tower. So in this land where humans were edible and beasts were magical--where spells worked and logic didn't--Jim Eckert had a big, strange problem.

This book lead me to my life long interest in the world of fantasy. A different take on the "Connecticut Yankee" trope, if you like your fantasy to be more upbeat versus grim dark, give this a try. You won't be disappointed.

I received a copy of The Dragon Knight. Having read it I fell in love. I hunted down the 1st book here and located it in a used bookstore then bought it. Not too many years later mythen husband introduced me to a movie with a John Ritter and a James Earl Jones in roles about a man turned into a dragon. Flight of Dragons was whimsical but I could see beneath the charming animation that it was based on Dragon. We often quote Doom! Doom! Doom! from the movie and my son coaxed us to name the cat after the movie (Doom-z). Finding this today it was like an old friend who was battered and on danger of pages falling out getting a new lease on life. How much do I recommend this book? Hugely so. The characters are just like I would be if I lived in a castle back then knowing what I do today.

If you are a lover of classic fantasy tales, knights, dragons, magic, evil forces, ect., then look no further. This has all that and more! At 243 pages is it short but once you've read the last page you'll feel like you yourself were just on an adventure.
