I love this book. I it is wonderful. It's romantic and thrilling you just want to read it over and over. This is what it is mainly about. A boy (who is Michael) saves this little baby (who is Starr) from being shot and takes the bullet himself. Michael is taken into their home till he gets well. Starr's father is very kind to the boy and sends him to school. When Starr and her father come visit him. He fall's in love with Starr. This does not go the way you think there are many twists before the happy ending.

Really good book but I did miss the Christian message of her other books
