Ratings and reviews

Despite the back and forthing between two defining life events, this story did not lose track. The characters are limited but well developed and the story speaks to how life shapes us. I did have a take away from this story, "You are not defined by your losses", and as someone who had to redefine herself after the passing of spouse and the nest emptying, this was quite poignant. Could have used this a few years earlier, but better late than never. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
