There is a theme within the stories written around those times and in that genre which is subjectively revealing itself to me. Quite certain to show my lack of study on this subjective view, I will say the obvious and the best review is for the reader to think of what it was said of the book by others after reading it and only then to decide for the topic to win a prize or not. Do not tread lightly upon said sands of Iwo Jima.
