It's terrific to see the late, great Robert Lansing on the cover of a Star Trek TOS novel, and I'm very glad to read about the adventures of Gary Seven, Roberta Lincoln, and of course, Isis. Highly recommended.

Great mixture of TOS, Gary Seven w/ Roberta & Isis, in a time travel mission against Romulans. The accidental encounter with G. Seven throws Kirk and Enterprise on a mission that puts Enterprise & crew in danger. Seven keeps silent about his true mission. It was fun to see how Roberta has learned to live & work on missions with Gary Seven. Greg Cox wrote a fun and exciting adventure for Trekkies and those who know of the Original Series, as well as those who want a bit more of the characters in the episode that was to be a intro and pilot for a potential series never made tv series of Gary Seven, Roberta, and Isis, the black cat/sometimes brunette female.
