Jadon Jobes
Rucka is doing a great job characterizing the titular heroine through a mix of somber aesthetics and memorial 'remembrance' pieces-- the panel with the mirror is extremely evocative, and the full shot of her transporting (that Liam Sharp shared details of) is a wonder-ful descriptive clear illustration of the new, more-traditionally-styled, updated costume. The uncertainty and search for truth are two major themes interwoven through the work and Rucka does a strong job illustrating her search for self or quest for a holistic and comprehensive 'truth' in the face of alternating pasts, origins, illustrations, and conceptualizations of 'Who WW Is' as a major quest arc or drive for her REBIRTH. Would definitely advise checking out the series if you're into strong, well-capured female characters, like WW (particularly more formalized, incisive and thoughtful warrior-woman we see here), or are just looking to pick up a story with strong characterization and a good style, I'd advise checking out the WW:Rebirth line.
