Take all safety precautions necessary to avoid being injured while doing any construction work like this. Read and follow all of the tool and product manufacturer’s usage information to prevent or reduce the risk of injury.
However, in no way can we guarantee that our greenhouse or yours won't need to be modified to make it stronger. You might need to use larger lumber, additional building materials, metal hardware, different fasteners and even consultant an engineer or local building authorities before building a greenhouse like the one described in this book.
The greenhouse might need to be strapped or bolted to a concrete building foundation. Then there's the location, you might need to consult your local planning department to verify exactly where you can position it on your property.
As of writing this book, the greenhouse I personally constructed is still standing and in fine condition, but it's only been a few months. The greenhouse hasn't been through any tornadoes, hurricanes, floods or strong winds.
Now let's get to it and happy building.
