About this ebook

From Internationally Bestselling author of the Cade Ranch Series, Greta Rose West, enjoy the first book in the Wisper Dreams Series, Rivers Between Us… For fans of Elsie Silver and Melanie Harlow.

A woman finds safety in the one man she hurt the most.

Sheriff of Teton County, Carey Michaels, puts everyone else's needs before his own—always—but when his ex-best friend shows up in his life again, with a ten-year-old daughter and a mountain of problems in tow, he has to decide if he can handle his heart being broken.

Again.

Francesca Morris feels safer back in her Wyoming hometown, and her daughter Grace is certainly safer than she was in Texas, but the threat in their lives lingers, even in Wisper. The boy she used to love wants to protect her, but doubts and insecurities hit hard, and Frannie can't stand to hurt Carey again, even if he is the big bad sheriff. Carey’s all M.A.N. now, and he never leaves home without his handcuffs, but it isn’t locks Frannie’s afraid of.

It's her heart.

Fall in love with Carey and Frannie in the first book in the Wisper Dreams Series, with new characters and some of your favorites from Cade Ranch. Rivers Between Us is a standalone, but there will be many books to follow in this charming Western small town, each with new main characters and its own HEA.

Trigger Warnings: Our heroine is a victim of domestic violence, but by the end of this book, she and her daughter become survivors!

What an emotional read! I couldn't put this book down. I love reading romance that has some depth and this did not disappoint. Frankie was so very, very brave and her love for little Grace was beyond words. Her story touched me right to my soul. I adored Carey. He was such a good, caring man who never stopped loving her. He was so kind to Frankie and Grace. I felt so sorry for the little girl, but he was there for her all the time. Their story proved that good can overcome evil and that victims can become survivors.

About the author

Greta Rose West was a floundering artsy flake until cowboy Jack Cade showed up, knocking on the door of her brain, pounding on it, and then he just plain kicked it down. She's a boy mom to a grown freakin' man, and she lives in NW Indiana with her husband and her two precocious kitties, Geoff Trouble and Sally Mae Midnight. When she’s not writing, she’s reading and devouring music. She enjoys indie films no one else likes, and her favorite food is Aver’s Veggie Revival pizza.
