I didn't realise I was such a fan of fairy-tale retellings until I picked this up. This one is starting with the classics, I mean they all are but pretty much everyone knows the stories of these three. Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella all destined to be princesses with their handsome hero by their side although this time that's kind of what they are looking to avoid. Beware the twists. These are a sweet, lighter read.

In this first volume enjoy Laura Greenwood's versions of Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, and Cinderella. I guarantee you'll never look at the original Grimm's Fairy Tales the same. Having read these stories individually, it was great to read them in the series. I love the retelling of my childhood favorite tales with a different perspective.
