About the author

H. Beam Piper was a prolific and influential American science fiction author born on March 23, 1904, and whose work has continued to garner respect and interest long after his passing in November 1964. Best known for his Terro-Human Future History series and Paratime series, Piper's contribution to the genre often explored themes of history, societal evolution, and parallel realities.
