In 1941 Great Britain a special war department assembles an experimental and exclusively female cohort of combat operatives. As plans are laid to engineer the largest prison break of Allied POWs in history, the Nazis capture the Virtues’ radio operator. It will take the cohesive teamwork of the rest of the women to save her life before Berlin breaks her and brings the force of the Third Reich to bear.

While I felt like book three in the series laid a lot of groundwork, this book, A Parcel for Prudence book four, took off from the ground running. We barely meet Muriel, codenamed Prudence, before her husband is off on the battlefront after encouraging Muriel to use her brains to help the Resistance. Next thing we know,Muriel (Prudence) is in a terrible interrogation, battling to keep secrets and her life. Then we find out that was just a "friendly" practice. The action just goes on from there, never letting up as Prudence enters France as a courier of information, money, and sometimes people. What an hair-raising, blood-pressure rocket this novella turned out to be!! One quote that describes accurately the mood of occupied France shortly after the Nazis occupation begins: "God forsook from France when the Nazis devils moved in. Make no mistake, Prudence, you've arrived in Hell!" Fortunately, Prudence and her team rely on faith in God and their training to combat the forces of evil. So glad I've got the next volume ready to go. Waiting would be a killer! I received this book from bookfun.org in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 4 in the series. Just like the other books, you learn of the details of the overall story through the eyes of Prudence, this time. Prudence is from a wealthy family and must learn to live a totally different life. You will meet others that you've already read about in this book, but the story is totally from the view of Prudence, the courier. You will not be disappointed. It is well written and keeps your interest through out. This could be a stand alone book, but it is much better if you read the series. This book was given to me in exchange for my honest review.
