About the author

Jack Cazes is a consultant in chromatography and analytical instrumentation and a Visiting Scholar and Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. The author, coauthor, or editor of several books and numerous journal articles in these disciplines, he is editor of the Journal of Liquid Chromatography and Related Technologies, Instrumentation Science and Technology, Preparative Biochemistry and Biotechnology, the Journal of Immunoassay and Immunochemistry, and the Chromatographic Science series. Cazes has been at the forefront of liquid chromatography for more than 35 years and pioneered the development of modern HPLC technology. He was previously Professor-in-Charge of the ACS Short Course and the ACS Audio Course on Gel Permeation Chromatography, and has taught organic chemistry at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a special-topics graduate-level course as Visiting Scholar and Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and is featured in Who's Who and American Men of Science.
