Keith Soothill is Emeritus Professor of Social Research in the Department of Applied Social Science, Lancaster University, UK,and is now based in the Centre for Applied Statistics at Lancaster.

Paul Rogers is Professor of Forensic Nursing at the University of Glamorgan.

Mairead Dolan is Professor of Forensic Psychiatry and Neuroscience at the University of Manchester.
