She is currently punishing him for his last act of brotherly love, which caused her some embarrassment in front of her peers. When we meet Preston, his personal life--a mess, his professional life--with several definite challenges at present, and murder collide.

A Crime Mystery that will set you on the edge. From a young women dead, to missing women, drug smuggling, to a break up is just the tip of the ice berg for Paterson Andrews as he and new partner will find out. All these will come out and the truth will be told and will right with wrong that was done to those who went missing.

I think the writer did a decent job putting together a web of crime but the main character was almost too perfect. It always annoys me when the hero is also amazingly handsome with an amazing body, charming, likeable, and has money, and on and on.. I guess I prefer a little more realistic story. Also, there was no need for all the exclamation points throughout!

Great read. Trying to find 2nd book. 1st was clearly marked as 1st. Assuming 2 more complete series but baffled at which is next.
