Ratings and reviews

This book gets Miles and Brooke's story off to a great start. The attraction and chemistry between these two practically burns right through the pages and the sparks they generate are fiery. I thought both characters were likable, and they each had my heart aching for them. Snappy banter, emotion, humor, drama, spice, intensity and twists had me reading feverishly and I cannot wait to see what happens in book number two.

Brooke and Miles have chemistry that they try to fight obviously. Their fake dating for sake of her sorority reunion has them getting real close and the tension comes to head one night after a night in the hot tub an a forced confession. Then things heat up and then a cliffhanger.

Another excellent beginning to a series I've been looking forward to reading! This fake relationship storyline is a heartwarming read. I love seeing characters from previous books as it always adds investment to the characters, but it's a strong standalone as well. Miles and Brooke are perfect for each other. I'm looking forward to them realizing that themselves. The cliffhanger has my anxiety up! I cannot wait for the next book!
