This is a great addition to the Montana Bounty Hunters: Dead Horse series. Marti is a strong independent women because of her tough lonely childhood. She doesn't let people in, so she can't get hurt. But when she is partnered with Hardman, as attracted as she is, she's afraid. But he is determined to make this woman his. Full of sizzle, steam, action, some laughs, drama, and more. A great read. This is a good story that is addicting and captivating. It is a fairly short and quick read about Marti and Hardman. It is a hot and steamy read with instant connection and plenty of action. I love the plot and characters. Such a good read. I enjoyed seeing the development between these characters.

Marti is fierce. She is also fun. I love how Pierce puts in the time. I like their dynamic and I love how the team works together. The writing is nicely done. This is a great series. This is a strong story with good action and mystery. 4.5 Stars. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
