Much different than the TV classic. Not at all your typical Kirk and Spock exchanges. And if seein' Unca Harl hisself as the doomed stewbum Trooper doesn't bring a tear to yer glass eye, kiddo, tell me what will.

I feel like an opportunity was missed by Star Trek when they didn't film what Harlan Ellison wrote. This was magical. The bonus was seeing Janice Rand as Grace Lee Whitney should have been allowed to play her. A fine story by one of the great science fiction writers brought to life in a beautiful way.

I'd give this 10 stars if I could. The full, real, original version of this great Star Trek story. Poignant writing and beautiful art. A must buy for any Trek fan.
