Her first poem was published in a Christian magazine at age 15, and Sara continues to weave her faith into most of her writing. She holds a B.A. in journalism and a M.A. in writing. Sara writes and teaches piano in a suburb near Houston, Texas, where she and her husband stay busy with their four children, three dogs and a cat.
