NEIL D’SILVA is an author with a proclivity for the horror genre. He quit a teaching career of eighteen years and made the shift into fulltime writing at the age of forty. Success came to him when his debut novel, Maya’s New Husband, hit #1 on the Amazon.in bestseller list, in the horror category. Since then he has been placed on several lists featuring Indian horror novelists. He gives back to the writing and reading community of India through his annual litfest, Litventure. Neil has spoken on the TEDx platform and has also conducted writing workshops at esteemed institutions such as IIT Kanpur. Neil lives in Mumbai with his wife, Anita, and their two children, Gilmore and Felicia.
