While concentrating her efforts on completing The Maiden's Revenge, she also had her first short stories and poetry published, and received a nomination for the 1998 Pushcart Prize. She lives in New York City with her obligatory feline companion and is currently working on her second romance for St. Martin's Paperbacks.
