Very well played out paranormal mystery. Characters are intriguing and story is very enticing. Drucilla is boldly adventurous and courageous, Viktor is reserved enough to be suspiciously odd. Hotel depiction is so thorough that it's creepiness feels very real. Can't wait to read what comes next.... I received a free copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.

Dru & Viktor A perfect job to be able to make some money and have peace and quiet to write her novel. Right! A haunted Bed & Breakfast hotel. Its winter. What can go wrong? Dru found a better question might be what can't go wrong. Her friend works the day shift and her highschool crush the mid-shift. Dru works what should be the quietest shift so she can write while she waits for nothing to happen. She didn't count on late arrivals who wanted an extra room she didn't have. A handsy guest or two. And a hot guy she can't seem to resist but... Not to mention dead animals left as a message but what message. All of those are changing her plan but then....yeah this is a serial with a cliffhanger and it's a doozy. Never fear, Ms. Black won't keep us waiting for long. I can't wait.
