HE LOOKED BIG, BAD AND DANGEROUS TO KNOW

But Ngaire Two Feathers McKay had little to lose to a heartbreaker like Kel. Couldn't she allow herself today--in his arms, his bed--when she might not have tomorrow?

He'd known her for trouble the first time he saw her. What he hadn't known was how hard it would be to lie to this woman, to keep his cover...to not protect her with his life as danger threatened hers. He had to remember she was a Hapkido master, capable of defending herself, and he had a job to do--one that didn't involve falling for his target.

Acerca do autor

Born in a Scottish mining village, Frances learned storytelling at her grandfather's knee. She might have ended up writing British sagas or mysteries, like Scottish writer Ian Rankin, but at 18 she met the love of her life and by the age of 20 she was on her way to New Zealand as a navy wife.Yvonne, her late mother-in-law, was a huge fan of romance fiction and soon converted Frances, who devoured books by Harlequin and Silhouette during the long nights she spent waiting for her husband to return from his trips overseas. Now she lives on a 10-acre block in Auckland's wine district, filling her days by writing stories about the kind of heroes a woman would travel to the ends of the earth for, the way she did. She tries to combine her travels with research as she did recently on a trip to New Zealand's South Island with her husband. Her readers can look forward to books set near Queenstown and Wanaka, and imagine the type of scenery found in Middle Earth, as displayed in the film series The Lord of the Rings.Frances was a finalist in the inaugural Clendon Award competition for a full-length romance novel in 1998, and won the award in 1999 with her first book published by Silhouette Intimate Moments, The Man For Maggie.
