Found this book very weak. As a Trekker and avid reader of Trek books I found this book drab. There was no exploration of the alien species at all, there was no 'Trek" feel to it.... It was more like Babylon 5.. The plot made no sense.... None at all, and the ending was weird. This book is a fail. Sorry.

Way to much unnecessary filler, and backstory, that takes the reader away from the story. Could have been a good story, just to much distraction.

Absolutely fantastic! Got to say this is my favorite of the Dayton Ward books that I've read. Highly recommended.
