Heather Bertinetti is the talented young pastry chef working her way through some of Manhattan’s most acclaimed restaurants. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America with a degree in baking and pastry arts, Heather joined Gramercy Tavern and, just two years later, Per Se. She then went on to open and receive rave reviews at Alto, Convivio, Marea, and Osteria Morini. Heather has been lauded by The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, and was named in Zagat's 2011 "30 under 30: New York's Hottest Up-and-Comers."
Chloe Coscarelli recently took home first place in the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, making her the first vegan ever to win on a Food Network competition. Chloe is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Culinary Arts NYC and the University of California, Berkeley. She has also completed Cornell University’s Plant-Based Nutrition program based on Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s The China Study. She lives in Los Angeles.
Carla Hall attended L’Academie de Cuisine in Maryland and is owner and executive chef of Carla Hall Petite Cookies, an artisan cookie company based out of Washington, DC. A cohost on the ABC talk show The Chew, she lives in Washington, DC, with her husband, Matthew Lyons, and stepson, Noah.
Carrie Morey, daughter of Callie White, founded Callie’s Charleston Biscuits in 2005 with the goal of making her mother’s delicious biscuits accessible across the country. Touted by the Today show, Saveur, Food & Wine, Southern Living, The New York Times, and Oprah, her biscuits and pimento cheese collection are sold at high-end retail stores all over the country. Chosen as one of Martha Stewart’s “Dreamers into Doers” in 2008, Carrie has been a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at the College of Charleston School of Business for more than five years.
Buddy Valastro is the star of TLC’s hit series Cake Boss and Next Great Baker and Food Network’s Buddy vs. Duff, as well as the author of four cookbooks, including the New York Times bestsellers Cake Boss and Baking with the Cake Boss. He is the owner of Carlo’s Bake Shop and lives with his wife and four children in New Jersey.
