I had a lot of fun with this story. It’s a quick read that’s nothing earth-shattering, but it’s really sweet and delightful. My heart broke a little bit for Ben at the way Shelly refused to see him as anything more than her “friend”. And it was pretty easy for me to sympathise with Shelly trying so hard to get everything right, but it still going all wrong anyways. That’s a point I would have liked to see the book dig into a little deeper. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

This has some very comical moments with entertaining magical mishaps. My heart went out to Ben for his long lasting unrequited love for his best friend. Shelly seems a little scatterbrained. I would have liked their story even more if it had been a little more romantic. 3 1/2* I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The first book in the Wildcrest Witches Romance series a very good start to this series. Witch Shelly Newsome and Dr. Benjamin Wright's is a fun well written story that had me laughing as I read. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
