About this ebook

They are untouched by time, and ravaged only by silver, the sun, and decapitation. They travel where they will and take to themselves humans to be their eternal companions.

One such creature, a vampire with the appearance of a young man, finds himself in a small, dusty town in Ohio in 1837. There the Blood Moon, an ancient force spoken only in legends, forces him to take an unwilling young woman as his eternal companion. They are bound by their blood relationship, and he must now protect her as her Blood Guardian against those who seek to do them harm.

The first part to the four-part New Adult paranormal romance Blood Guardians series. The first book is set in the western United States of the 1830s.

A really irritating style of prose. Obvious and clumsily written leaving nothing to the reader's imagination but hammering every little detail home relentlessly. I wonder if the authors first language is not English. I'm also thinking this because of the many many basic grammatical errors. Perhaps this is just due to shoddy editing/proof reading.

As an avid reader of fiction I am entertained by the story. I have never been a big fan of western or any kind of period literature unless it is classic. Saying so, the writer gave a great amount of description that the characters emotions and journey felt real to me. I am definitely reading the rest of the series.

A good book with sequels to follow are supposed to leave the reader with an ending that isn't the ending. I look forward to reading more. Now, if you could just fix your spelling errors....Unfortunately, spell check doesn't always give you the proper spelling either. A good writer must always have a dictionary, and use it.
