** 3.5 stars ** It's a fly by the seat of your pants beginning, with a "did I miss a few chapters or something?!?" feeling for quite a few pages. This story really does start in the thick of it and the action just keeps going from there. It's a little discombobulating not knowing what is going on as reader but the characters for once seem to know more? I had no idea what was going on but the girl, Malka, was drawing men to her like flies to honey and she seemed to be okay with that. There steamy scenes some MM action cause there's an ancient vamp who isn't too picky and Malka doesn't mind either. All-in-all, it's a fast-burn story about a girl who doesn't know she has powers and is at risk from baddies who will use &/or eat her to get her powers. Enter 5 Elemental witches promised to protect her (oh yeah and 1 ancient vamp). Their all hot and no one can keep their pants on. Hehe. Earth: Elemental Reverse Harem Quartet by Helen J Perry is such a wonderful story that I have loved reading. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series written by a brand new author for me to read. I can not wait to read the rest of this wonderful series that I am so hooked on. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about vampires, reverse harem and paranormal romance. This is an enjoyable paranormal RH romance. Characters are developed well and are likable. The story is intriguing with steamy scenes. I look forward to reading future books in this series.
