I absolutely loved this beautiful, breathtaking and sizzling love story with a touch of suspense. It consumed me from word one as I devoured this book! Brielle is desperate to regain her memory, and her brother's best friend, Spencer, is her safe place to find them. This story about love, and loss, and second chances, was amazing! The writing is rich and beautiful, makes me care for all the wonderful characters, and it took my breath away, and I loved every single word of it!

Book one in the Rose Canyon series, but is a standalone. This book had me hooked from the beginning and kept me completely invested to the end! I loved the dual perspectives, angsty, and so many emotions!! Don't want to give too much away, but I absolutely loved this book!!!

I am always excited to jump into a new series from Corinne Michaels. She creates these family and friend groups that are easy to love and draw you into their small-town stories. The Rose Canyon series kicks off with Brielle and Spencer's story. She wakes up in the hospital with amnesia to the news that her brother is dead, she was there when it happened, and that getting her memories back is key to solving the case. This is definitely an emotional read with Brielle working through the grief and trauma of her experiences and brother's death. Spencer was her brother's best friend and wants to help her uncover the truth. They had a great connection and were so well matched. I had a hard time putting this book down. It was an engaging, well paced story. There were also lots of secondary characters I can't wait to read about in future books!
