About this ebook

The book is about a family of geese. It is written in first person by Mother Goose who shares the story of her species. The book includes a poem about her life and lessons we can learn about the habits of Canadian geese.

About the author

Margaret M. Peiffer worked for the federal government for thirty-three years in personnel management and retired in 1997. She started a second career that year as a volunteer at Queen of Apostles Catholic School as a reading specialist. She realized reading was the foundation to success in life. Because Canadian geese lived in her apartment complex, it was easy and exciting to watch their habits. This inspired her to write this book for children.
