Willow sleeps with Jake after a very interesting meet cute and proposal, which I thought was perfectly crafted to suit the story given that Jake is mute. Because of her fears of childbirth and not having a family, Willow doesn't reappear in Jake's life until their baby is 3 months old. Willow was a strong independent woman who doesn't impose on anyone, so it was wonderful to see her accept sweet Jake who kept searching for Willow after she left, and so readily welcomed the girls into his life.

Even though Jake can’t speak he can definitely get his point across. Willow is at Jake’s brother’s wedding where she is a day worker. She is upset and sad but with Jake she feels alive. They have one night of bliss and a year later she shows up with his baby. This is a heartfelt read, sweet and steamy and Jake and Willow are perfect together. Loved it.
