This is my second book in the Winter Valley Series. I missed the book before this which may have given a little more background how Elise is now working in Morgan’s garage but this didn’t keep me from liking her story. She has had a crush on Morgan’s best friend, Theo Foster, since childhood and when he shows up to build his newest race car at the garage the two of them fight their attraction. This is a quick read but gives us another link to the Winter Valley series.

I missed the first two books in this series so I feel like this can be read as a complete standalone. Would I appreciate the relationships around Theo and Elisse more, probably. Was I lost, definitely not. I have read a lot of Claudia Burgoa but I haven't read any books by Grahame Claire. This book didn't feel like two different people writing so it makes me want to add all the GC books to my TBR. I'm not sure if this series will actually continue I really hope so.

Here With You is Elisse and Theo’s story. Elisse is the younger sister to Morgan, who we met in the second Winter Valley book. She has had a crush on her brothers best friend, Theo, since they were little. Theo left town when his parents divorced and somewhere in that time Elisse started to loathe Theo. She thinks he is an arrogant rich playboy who forgot where he came from. When their paths cross again in Winter Valley they are both working on cars at Morgan’s automotive repair shop.
