About this eBook

Francis Joseph Cassavant is 18. He has just returned home from the Second World War, and he has no face. He does have a gun and a mission: to murder his childhood hero.

Francis lost most of his face when he fell on a grenade in France. He received the Silver Star for bravery, but was it really an act of heroism? Now, having survived, he is looking for a man he once admired and respected, a man adored my many people, a man who also received a Silver Star for bravery. A man who destroyed Francis’s life.

I finally found it! I read this book for a class in high school and got so into it, was probably the first time as a teenager that my attention did not waver to anything else. Lol. Been wanting to read again for so long now that I'm an adult and really enjoy reading a good book but could not for the life of me remember what this book was called. If it wasn't for me searching about this book after reading the description of it, and seeing the original cover of the book that I remembered from school. The blurred face pointing a gun I would have never of found this again. I'm so happy right now! 😂😁
