Wonderful, fast paced story full of suspense that will keep readers on the edge of their seat. Gabriel Diaz, ex-military, now works as a mercenary working for Centurion Corporation. Gabe is known for having nothing but success when it comes to his missions thanks to his motto to never get emotionally invested. Maylin Cheng's sister has gone missing and she is unable to get any information and no one is willing to help her. After learning that the Centurion Coproartion is the best for solving problems she approaches Gabe to ask for help in locating her sister. Gabe tells Maylin to find someone else who is more suited for what she needs, they are not the people she needs to be talking to. When Maylin finally leaves someone tries to run her over in front of Gabe and Gabe soon realizes that the driver was intentionaly trying to harm Maylin. With this realization Gabe and his team decide to take her care but they find out so much more than they ever expected and old friends turned enemies come face to face.
