Data in the report is based on a sample of 70 North American colleges with data broken out separately by size and type of institution. The study gives highly detailed data for current and expected revenue from a myriad of sources, including but not limited to: state support, tuition, fundraising, college sports, programs for non-matriculated students, memorabilia licensing, endowments, adult education and distance learning, rental of college facilities and other sources. The report helps college management to answer questions such as: How have revenue forecasts changed over the past two years? In what areas is revenue expected to grow? How are colleges tapping new sources of revenue? What is the role of distance learning, rental of college facilities, certificate programs for non-matriculated students, college athletics and fundraising playing in the revenue outlook? How are my peers handling these pressing revenue-related issues in this difficult economic environment? What is the expected outlook for the availability of student loans and how will this impact revenues?
